Capcom ~~has officially~~ released Arjun, the second DLC character for the Street Fighter 6 Year 4 content cycle, on October 13, 2026. Arjun is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. An original character from India, Arjun is a 6’9”, 320-pound grappler and former police officer framed for murder. His combat style, described as ‘bare-knuckle yoga’ or ‘Yoga Breathing,’ emphasizes raw power and rhythmic, Bollywood-inspired movements over speed. His gameplay mechanics focus on manipulating ‘recoverable damage’ (white health) through specialized moves like his command throw, ‘Intense Interrogation.’ His kit includes earth and smoke-based abilities, such as summoning stone spires via ‘Divine Crag’ and utilizing projectile-like smoke rings. Following his release, a subsequent update introduced additional content including Combo Trials, a character guide, and a dedicated story mode within the Arcade mode. This update also added new Battle Tour content in the Avatar Arcade and unlockable special attacks. Arjun’s mechanics were further detailed to include the ability to gain Super Armor via ‘Indomitable Defense’ and a mechanic that can increase an opponent’s recoverable grey life. Players can acquire Arjun through the Year 4 Character Pass, the Year 4 Ultimate Pass, or via individual purchase using Fighter Coins. The release coincided with the introduction of Outfit 4 for C. Viper Initial community reception has been mixed. While some players have criticized his design and moveset as ~~part of a swimwear series.~~ generic, others have highlighted his unique playstyle and high chip damage during the Burnout state. Competitive analysis suggests his distinctive tools and gimmicks may allow him to reach top-tier status.
