Strive, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASST) has been aggressively expanding its Bitcoin treasury through equity-based financing. In late August 2026, the asset management firm utilized its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock (SATA) program to acquire 1,110 Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to 21,356 BTC. Following this acquisition, CEO Matt Cole announced a strategic goal to become the second-largest public company Bitcoin holder by the end of 2026. To reach this position, the company would need to acquire approximately 20,400 BTC. Cole indicated that $700 million in outstanding warrants, expiring in mid-October, could provide the capital necessary to deploy up to $1.4 billion toward Bitcoin purchases and digital credit capacity. Between August 31 and September 4, 2026, Strive purchased an additional 1,375 BTC for approximately $109 million at an average price of $79,281 per coin. This brings the company’s total holdings to 24,531 BTC, valued at roughly $1.9 billion. CEO Matt Cole reported that 70% of the capital raised during the previous week was sourced from the SATA program, which now has a notional value of $999 million outstanding. Chief Risk Officer Jeff Walton noted that the company has achieved three consecutive weeks of over 5% growth in Bitcoin holdings, representing a 21.1% increase over that three-week period.
