Student activities in Argentina and Chile have transitioned from social recognition and traditional competitions to technical innovation. Initial reports highlighted community and academic engagement through the “Hugo Solís” distinction ceremony in Argentina, which recognized over 400 students for solidarity, and a school chess tournament in Osorno, Chile, involving more than 70 participants. Subsequent developments show a focus on STEM fields, with students in Argentina qualifying for provincial robotics stages through projects involving maze-solving and electronic voting innovations. Similarly, students in San Ignacio, Chile, have progressed from building obstacle-avoiding robots to developing robotic arms, earning an invitation to visit the Universidad del Biobío. Recent achievements in Argentina include a national championship victory in the RoboMission Elementary category. A team of three students from the Instituto de Innovación y Tecnología Aplicada (IITA) in Salta—Martiniano Di Prieto, Elina Alzugaray, and Santiago Cruz—secured first place in Pilar, Buenos Aires, using an autonomous robot. This victory qualifies them to represent Argentina at the World Robot Olympiad in Puerto Rico this December. Further national success has been reported from Colegio Don Bosco in San Carlos de Bariloche. A secondary school team placed ninth in the Copa Robótica, a competition involving virtual problem-solving and in-person robotic challenges. Additionally, three seventh-grade students from the same institution earned third place nationally in a video game programming category during an olympiad organized by the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Technical excellence continues to emerge from the Chaco province. At the National Olympics of Innovation, Informatics, Electronics, and Applied Technology (ONIET) in Córdoba, Kevin Frank Canteros Bovero from Resistencia earned second place in the Electrosaber I category with a perfect score. Students from the same school also presented an automatic egg incubator robotics project that scored 98 out of 100.
