In Agra, two individuals—a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman—died by suicide in separate locations. In Jaipur, a woman was shot in the chest in a suspected attack motivated by a refusal to marry, leaving her in serious condition. Recent reports indicate a cluster of fatalities within university hostels. In Amethi, 21-year-old Deepti Yadav, a final-semester nursing student, was found hanging in her room at the Indira Gandhi School of Nursing; police are awaiting autopsy results. In Jaipur, 20-year-old Mohit Saini, a student at NIMS University, was found dead in his locked hostel room, with authorities suspecting suicide. This follows the death of another NIMS University student, Aditya Tiwari, who reportedly fell from a 15th-floor hostel building on August 25.
