The 2026 Educabot Robotics Cup concluded its national phase in Neuquén, Argentina, involving more than 15,000 students from 1,386 schools. The competition focused on promoting STEAM skills and technological ~~access.~~ access, with this year’s technical challenge centered on efficient wind energy storage and distribution. The Sanjobits101 team from Instituto Técnico San José N° 8013 in Santa Fe was crowned the national champion. This victory earns them the opportunity to represent Argentina at the First Global Challenge 2027, a worldwide educational robotics competition. The final podium included the ETernos 2.0 team from the José de San Martín institution in Mendoza in second place, and the BOTS. DS team from Colegio Domingo Savio in Formosa in third place. To support these initiatives, $100 million in educational technology was distributed among the top three teams to strengthen their school and provincial programs. Held at the Domuyo Convention Center, the event drew significant interest, with over 240 students participating in person and more than 20,000 viewers via streaming.
