In August 2026, various organizations in Turkey announced updates regarding student financial aid for the upcoming academic period. The Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) decided to increase its monthly student scholarship from 1,500 TL to 2,500 TL. Board Chairman Ahmet Tanoğlu noted that supporting students is an investment intended to cultivate individuals who will contribute to the local economy and employment. Concurrently, the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) released its scholarship application calendar and payment structure for 2026-2027. Monthly rates announced by TEV range from 3,500 TL for vocational secondary education to 16,000 TL for Outstanding Success and Outstanding Success Art scholarships. The foundation also established a 6,500 TL dormitory pocket money allowance for female students, with application windows staggered between August and November 2026. By mid-September 2026, TEV provided specific timelines for its application cycles. University (Education) Scholarship applications opened on September 14 and are scheduled to close on October 8, 2026. The High Achievement Art Scholarship application window remains open until November 5, 2026. Detailed monthly rates for advanced studies were also clarified, with master’s students receiving 12,000 TL and doctoral students receiving 14,000 TL. While a definitive date for results has not been set, they are expected to be released following the conclusion of the art scholarship applications and subsequent evaluation and interview processes.
