The Studentska lista (Students' List) movement is actively campaigning ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 25. Professor Milo Lomparić has officially distanced himself from the movement, confirming he will not run on any party list or participate in campaign speeches. Lomparić suggested his absence aligns with previous indications regarding the exclusion of certain personalities and alleged that his name appearing in German media was part of a broader campaign against him. He also raised questions regarding the influence of Bojan Pajić on the formation of the list. Concurrently, Radomir Lazović, co-leader of the Green-Left Front (ZLF), has formally signed his support for the Students' List plan. During a visit to Smederevo, Lazović criticized the current administration for the city’s high pollution levels and declining living standards, framing the upcoming election as a ‘campaign for the liberation of Serbia.’ As the election approaches, political tensions have escalated. Ana Brnabić, Vice President of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), and Darko Glisic have condemned campaign materials associated with the Students' List. Brnabić specifically targeted a video released by students from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU), characterizing imagery of soap in a prison cell as a ‘monstrous threat of sexual violence’ against President Aleksandar Vučić and a dehumanizing act. SNS officials have further labeled the movement a group of ‘misogynists and tricksters’ and accused them of violating the constitution through street blockades. In response She has appealed to European partners to condemn these allegations of hate speech, actions as anti-democratic. Recent polling shows conflicting results, with some indicating the Commissioner for Equality, Milan Antonijević, has called on all electoral participants to report any materials that constitute discrimination.
