The Summer Grand Prix ski jumping series includes a stage in Rasnov, Romania, held at the Trambulina Valea Cărbunării facility. The event features individual competitions for both men and women. Prior to the competition, the Norwegian ski jumping federation announced that several top athletes, including Halvor Egner Granerud, Johann Andre Forfang, and Marius Lindvik, would skip the Rasnov stage to focus on training for the winter season. Norway's representation in Rasnov included Adrian Thon Gundersrud, Isak Andreas Langmo, Benjamin Oestvold, and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal. In the individual competition held on the HS97 hill, Japan’s Naoki Nakamura secured victory with jumps of 93 and 96 meters. Jason Colby of the United States took second place, while Norway’s Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal finished third. Other top five finishers included Juri Kesseli in fourth and Ilia Mizernych in fifth. Polish athletes achieved mixed results, though all advanced to the second round. Paweł Wąsek was the highest-ranking Polish competitor, finishing ninth overall. Dawid Kubacki placed within the top twenty, and Jan Galica, competing in his national team debut, finished 28th after improving his position during the final series. In subsequent competition at the Rasnov Grand Prix, Polish jumpers saw improved results. Paweł Wąsek achieved a second-place podium finish after leading the competition during the first series. Dawid Kubacki also secured a sixth-place finish in the Sunday event.
