SUNEAST memory card and AI SSD product releases
Overview
SUNEAST, a storage brand under Asahito Electronics and Kyokuto Trading, has expanded its product lineup with new high-speed memory cards and AI-integrated hardware.
Following the late August 2026 announcement of the ULTIMATE PRO S275 series, which utilizes DDR275 technology for 4K video and photography, the company provided further details on the S275 GOLD Series. These SDXC and microSDXC cards feature read speeds of up to 240MB/s and write speeds up to 200MB/s. The series is designed for durability, incorporating waterproof, shockproof, and X-ray resistant features.
In addition to memory cards, SUNEAST announced the NANO PRO series, an ultra-compact portable SSD. This device includes a one-touch recording function for meetings or interviews and utilizes local AI to perform transcription, summarization, and content organization directly on the hardware. This local processing is intended to ensure data privacy by avoiding external cloud server uploads.
Concurrently, Kyokuto Trading launched the SUNEAST Daily Series, a line of microSDHC/XC UHS-I cards intended for everyday storage. These cards offer capacities of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB with maximum transfer speeds of 92MB/s, optimized for Full HD video and compatible with devices such as the Nintendo Switch.
