The anime adaptation of Shun Numa’s manga, ‘Super Psychic Policeman Chojo’, is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 6, 2026. Produced by Arvo Animation, the series follows the partnership between Meguru Chojo, a criminal investigator with psychic abilities, and Nao Ippongi, a rookie officer with superhuman strength. Initial announcements confirmed musical contributions from the group M!LK for the opening theme and Shifuku Poncho for the ending theme. Subsequent promotional updates included a new video featuring the ending theme, ‘Mata Ashita’, and confirmed that the series will air on the Kansai TV and Fuji TV networks, with international simulcasts available via Crunchyroll. Following the premiere, new details regarding upcoming episodes were released. The second episode, titled ‘Cat-Searching Sergeant’ and ‘Duelist Sergeant’, features the protagonists using psychometry to locate a lost cat. The third episode, ‘Errand Sergeant’ and ‘Speeding Sergeant’, introduces a character named Robo-kun—a robot immune to psychic powers—alongside a jewel thief known as the ‘Speeding King’. The series is directed by Shunichi Yamamoto.
