In late July 2026, Surfshark expanded its FastTrack routing to cover more than half of its server network, promising macOS speed improvements of up to 70% and automatic path selection. The company also introduced a low-cost Starter VPN plan, initially advertised at €2.79 per month and later listed at €2.29 per month, offering unlimited device connections, ad-blocking, tracker removal, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. On 23 July, Surfshark launched a 4-in-1 anti-scam hub for iPhone users at €3.35 per month, shielding against AI-driven fraudulent sites, ads, listings, and social-media scams; Android users receive comparable protection by enabling each feature manually. A week later, Surfshark’s Starter package was highlighted again in a joint announcement with Proton VPN’s discounted Plus plan. The Surfshark offering continued to stress unlimited-device support, access to over 4,500 servers in 100 countries, and built-in ad-blocking, tracker, and malware protection, maintaining the €2.29 per month price and 30-day money-back guarantee. By mid-August, Surfshark introduced summer promotional discounts, including an 85% discount on its 27-month plan, reducing the cost to €2.49 per month. Following this, the company expanded its cybersecurity offerings with the launch of Surfshark One+, a suite that includes antivirus protection, CleanWeb, Alternative ID, Surfshark Alert for data leak monitoring, a privacy-focused search engine, and access to Incogni for data removal requests. On 24 August, Surfshark highlighted its ‘Starter’ plan, which begins at €2.49 per month and includes a three-month free trial. The plan features unlimited device connections, Alternative ID for identity protection, CleanWeb for ad-blocking, and access to a network of over 4,500 servers in 100 countries. By late August, the company continued to promote its 27-month plan at €2.49 per month, which includes 24 months plus three additional months, data traffic encryption, a no-logs policy, and an optional ‘One’ plan for additional malware protection services.
