Survivor 2027 application and format updates

Overview

The application process for the 2027 season of the reality competition Survivor has commenced on the TV8 network. Prospective contestants are submitting personal information and optional video submissions through the official application portal.

While an exact premiere date has not been finalized, the new season is expected to begin in early 2027. This follows the pattern of the previous season, which premiered on January 1. The selection committee is currently reviewing submissions to begin the interview process for candidates.

Acun Ilıcalı has since announced a new format for the 2027 season. The upcoming competition will feature two teams led by former champions Turabi and Ogeday, who will serve as team captains rather than contestants. While these captains will lead their respective teams, the contestants will compete for a grand prize of 10 million TL. The specific roster of participants has not yet been finalized, as the selection process involving applications and eliminations remains ongoing.
