Sustainable agriculture congress in Bolivia and technical fairs in|Bolí

In early September 2026, the Asociación de Productores de Oleaginosas y Trigo (Anapo) announced the first International Congress of Sustainable Agriculture in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Scheduled for September 7–8, the event was designed to bring together specialists from Bolivia, Argentina, and Brazil to address sustainable food production in the Southern Cone. Discussions were set to focus on agroclimatology, precision agriculture, soil management, and the use of biotechnological tools and drones to increase sector resilience. The congress highlighted the economic importance of the oilseed and wheat sector, which generated $1.145 billion in exports in 2025. Building on the focus on agricultural innovation in Santa Cruz, the AGRO VIDAS 2026 technical fair has been scheduled for October 15–17 at the FUNDACRUZ fairgrounds. The event is expected to attract over 40,000 visitors and feature more than 400 exhibitors and 1,500 brands. This fair aims to introduce new machinery and technological solutions to the sector, with anticipated participation from producers in Argentina and Peru.
