In early June 2026 Suzuki’s Malaysian distributor cut the Fronx price by RM29,000 and launched the sport‑focused Fronx Sport, a mild‑hybrid with upgraded ADAS (including lane‑departure prevention and vehicle‑roll detection) and sport‑styled exterior tweaks. At the same time two new Jimny models debuted: the AllGrip Plus, fitted with a 1.5‑L K15B engine, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control and a 9‑inch screen, and the Rhino Plus, a lifestyle‑oriented version with 15‑inch wheels and distinctive styling. A few days later the Fronx Sport was officially introduced in Malaysia, while Suzuki noted modest Fronx sales in Vietnam. By late June the company displayed a heavily modified Jimny Sierra Gozel Outdoor concept at Japan’s JimnySunlight festival and released a limited‑edition Rhino Jimny for Australia (250 units, Kinetic Yellow). In July Suzuki rolled out an upgraded Jimny in Taiwan, adding DSBS II dual‑sensor brake‑assist, ACC, lane‑departure assistance, traffic‑sign recognition and a 9‑inch digital cockpit, and announced the official Gozel Outdoor accessory package for the three‑door Sierra and five‑door Nomad. On 12 July the AWIN‑manufactured GOZEL body‑kit (five pieces) entered the Suzuki Select Plus lineup in Japan, priced around ¥270,000. The 5‑door, long‑wheelbase Jimny Nomad, first launched in Japan in January 2025, saw monthly production raised to 3,300 units and received a 9‑inch infotainment display for the 2026 model year. Aftermarket supplier JAOS introduced a bolt‑on rear‑sports cowl for the first‑generation Nomad, preserving factory sensors while adding LED tail‑light and fog‑lamp modules. In August, strong demand for the Jimny was reported in Mexico, where limited supply sustains premium pricing. Suzuki also launched the Horizon special edition in New Zealand, offered in 3‑door and 5‑door versions with adventure‑ready accessories, upgraded infotainment and lighting, priced from NZ$34,990 to NZ$42,990.
