Suzuki is expanding its motorcycle lineup across multiple global markets. In Japan, the company has reintroduced the GSX-R1000R flagship after a four-year hiatus. Released on July 17, 2026, the redesigned model meets Euro 5+ emission standards and features a 999cc inline-four engine producing 190ps, improved electronic controls via the S.I.R.S. system, and a lightweight lithium-ion battery. High demand has been reported, with certain color options nearing sell-out status. On September 11, 2026, Suzuki officially unveiled the 2026 GSX-R1000R in the Japanese market, marking its return after sales ceased in 2022. This model includes technical upgrades such as an increased throttle body diameter (from 46 mm to 48 mm) and a redesigned exhaust system with a compact titanium muffler. To enhance aerodynamics and high-speed stability, the motorcycle integrates carbon fiber winglets to increase front-end downforce. The bike weighs 203 kg and features ABS for both front and rear braking. During the Salone Auto Torino, Suzuki further diversified its offerings by unveiling the GSX-R1000R Stealth. This limited edition is restricted to only 10 numbered units and features a total black livery with alternating matte and glossy finishes. The package includes an Akrapovič titanium exhaust, carbon fiber wings, a smoked windscreen, and a single-seat cover, priced at 21,690 euros. In the United States, Suzuki has released the 2027 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 models. The 2027 GSX-R600, priced at $12,499, includes a 599cc engine, Showa Big Piston forks, Brembo brake calipers, and a special 40th Anniversary Edition. The GSX-R750 continues its lineage with a 750cc inline-four engine designed for agility and performance. Further expansion includes the arrival of the GSX-8R in new markets.
