Other regional initiatives focus on youth development and cultural integration. Coming-of-age ceremonies for 16-year-olds in Tainan and Taoyuan utilized traditional rituals, such as bowing to parents, to encourage social responsibility. Additionally, community programs include a social-emotional learning camp for children in Shui Li and a star-themed festival in Qingjing that integrates indigenous Seediq culture with celestial observation. Recent Grandparents Day celebrations have continued this trend of regional engagement. In Changhua County, Tianwei Township recognized exemplary families for their community involvement and intergenerational learning. In Hualien, Ji'an Township utilized theatrical performances to engage families through storytelling and shared memories.
