In July 2026, TAROM announced that the delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX, originally slated for an earlier date, had been postponed to August 2026. Company crews are collecting the aircraft from Boeing’s Seattle facilities to begin a two-stage ferry flight, traveling from Seattle to Keflavik, Iceland, before arriving in Bucharest.
