Taylor Swift’s concert film, ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)’, was released for streaming on Disney+, featuring additional acoustic tracks such as ‘Cardigan’. Following the release, Swift launched a campaign for the film, titled ‘The Final Show’, ahead of the 2026 Emmy Awards. The project has received five Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Variety Special (Prerecorded) and Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special. To support the nominations, Swift hosted a private ‘For Your Consideration’ event where she performed several songs for Emmy voters and discussed the filming of the tour’s final performance in Vancouver. In a recent intimate event held at the Ross House in Los Angeles, Swift hosted approximately 50 Emmy voters to campaign for the Disney+ special. During this no-phone gathering, Swift reportedly performed songs to demonstrate the connection between the performer and the audience. She also spoke in support of director Glenn Weiss and sound designer John Ross, both of whom received nominations. The production’s goal, as discussed during the event, was to preserve the “sense of escapism and freedom” experienced by fans during the tour. In addition to directing and variety special categories, the project has earned nominations for Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special. Swift herself is nominated as both a performer and a producer.
