Overview
The Court of Accounts of the State of Pará (TCE-PA) has undertaken several initiatives to enhance its oversight and planning capabilities.
In late October 2026, the TCE-PA conducted a public consultation at the Unama university campus in Ananindeua. This pedagogical action aimed to allow citizens to suggest priority themes for the 2027 Annual Inspection Plan (PAF) across sectors such as health, education, public security, and infrastructure.
Simultaneously, the TCE-PA is coordinating strategic efforts to improve child literacy in the state. Through technical cooperation with the Court of Accounts of the Municipalities of Pará and the State Secretariat of Education, the agency is integrating the oversight of the ‘Alfabetiza Pará’ program and the ‘Indicador Criança Alfabetizada’ metric into its 2026 Annual Inspection Plan. These efforts focus on evaluating national teaching goals, expanding school access, and monitoring educational policies.
