Bandai Namco announced the addition of the character Bob to Tekken 8 as part of the Season 3 DLC roadmap. The character, a Freestyle Karate fighter, was scheduled for early access for Season 3 Pass holders on August 19, 2026, with a general release for all players on August 24, 2026. Bob, referred to as the ‘Onigiri Savior,’ follows a narrative involving his recovery from a fight with Bryan and his venture into the burger business, ‘Bob’s Onigiri.’ He Following his early access period, general access was launched on August 24. In this installment, Bob serves as an investigator for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office while pursuing Kazuya Mishima, featuring new costumes and unique character interactions. Bob is the second character released in Season 3, following ~~Kunimitsu, with~~ Kunimitsu. To celebrate the release, a promotional campaign is being held on the official Tekken X account. Information regarding the third Season 3 character, Roger ~~Jr. and~~ Jr., is expected to be revealed via a gameplay trailer during EVO France in October 2026. Yujiro Hanma remains listed as an upcoming ~~additions~~ addition to the roadmap.
