Specific areas, including Salamanca, Monte Patria, Vicuña, Canela, and Combarbalá, maintained outage rates exceeding 30%.
In response to the disruption, major providers such as Entel, Claro, VTR, and Movistar announced billing discounts ranging from 40% to 100% for approximately 200,000 affected customers. Subtel has begun evaluating measures to increase network resilience, including reinforcing energy backup systems to prevent similar failures during future emergencies.
