Sébastien, the 44-year-old champion from the Vosges region, continues his successful run on TF1’s ‘Les 12 coups de midi’. Following his 46th episode on October 1, where he defended his title against competitors Justine, Corentin, and Manon, his total winnings stood at 182,974 euros. Although he won 200 euros during the ‘Coup fatal’ round in that episode, he was unable to play for the ‘Étoile mystérieuse’, which was valued at 36,128 euros. By the October 6 episode, Sébastien’s total winnings increased to 214,624 euros. The program has seen various emotional moments, including an opponent named Théo sharing that he left his job to care for his ill mother. Speculation regarding the ‘Étoile mystérieuse’ continues; following previous guesses such as Emma Thompson, Isabelle Carré, and Daniel Craig, new clues involving a library, a deck of cards, and an intercom have led viewers to suggest the mystery celebrity may be Stéphane Bern. In terms of viewership, the October 1 broadcast drew 2.22 million viewers, a 32.5% market share for the 4+ demographic, marking a slight weekly decline. Additionally, host Jean-Luc Reichmann has addressed the spread of false rumors on social media, previously using humor to debunk a viral hoax regarding his own death. On October 11, 2026, Sébastien achieved his 54th victory, ranking him 24th in the show’s all-time champion standings. His total winnings and prizes have now reached €271,815. During this broadcast, he secured a ‘Coup de maître’ worth €30,000 and successfully identified American actress Jodie Foster as the ‘Étoile mystérieuse’, earning a prize package valued at €38,186. This marks his third successful identification of the mystery star, following previous wins involving Artus and Tahar Rahim. The program continues to maintain strong viewership, averaging 2.48 million viewers on Sunday with a 30.4% market share.
