She suggested the government should consider alternatives like bioenergy to better align with the legislative proceedings, agricultural sector. Nantana raised three primary concerns regarding the solar initiative: the long-term stability of the technology, the potential for solar panels to become toxic waste, and Thailand’s lack of domestic solar technology ownership. She cautioned that relying on imported technology could lead to capital flight, drawing a comparison to the economic impact of Chinese electric vehicle subsidies, and urged more effective use of borrowed funds during the current economic crisis. Separately, the Cabinet is scheduled to hold a mobile meeting in Songkhla province. This meeting will province to address development principles for Songkhla and the southern border provinces, focusing on enhancing tourism, the economy, transportation, and industry, as well as improving and disaster response and compensation mechanisms.
