20th Century Studios announced the home media release schedule for Ridley Scott’s post-apocalyptic thriller, ‘The Dog Stars’. The film was scheduled to become available on premium digital platforms, such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and Fandango at Home, starting October 27, 2026. Physical media releases on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD were expected to follow on December 1, 2026. By October 27, 2026, the film transitioned to digital streaming, allowing users to rent or purchase the title. The survival thriller, based on the novel by Peter Heller, follows a pilot named Hig, played by Jacob Elordi, as he investigates a mysterious radio signal in a world impacted by a pandemic. Hig is joined by a survivalist named Bangley, played by Josh Brolin, in a story set in 2035. The ensemble cast also includes Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Allison Janney, and Benedict Wong.
