Amazon Prime Video confirmed that the seventh season of The Grand Tour will debut on 4 September 2026 with six episodes. The new presenting trio—YouTubers Thomas Holland and James Engelsman of Throttle House and social‑media personality Francis Bourgeois—replace the original team of Clarkson, Hammond and May. The season will feature challenges in the Angolan desert, Malaysia’s car‑culture hotspots and California. Former host Jeremy Clarkson appeared in a brief skit to introduce the newcomers, and on 4 August it was announced that all three original presenters—Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May—will make cameo appearances, handing the baton to the new hosts. Andy Wilman described the segment as the first on‑screen reunion of the original trio since the series ended in final episode aired on 13 September 2024. In early August, Clarkson disclosed that he pays for his own Amazon Prime subscription, about £95 per year, and Wilman dismissed claims that his endorsement of the new hosts was financially motivated, calling such rumors “risible” and confirming Clarkson personally evaluated the newcomers before publicly praising them.
