Prime Video is preparing for the release of ‘The Love Hypothesis’, a film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s bestselling novel. The story follows characters Olive Smith, a PhD student in the natural sciences, and biology professor Dr. Adam Carlsen as they navigate a fake relationship that turns into a genuine romance. Unlike the streaming service’s previous series adaptation ‘Off Campus’, this project is a standalone film starring Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman. Directed by Claire Scanlon from a script by Sarah Rothschild, the film is produced by Elizabeth Cantillon under the Cantillon Company banner for Amazon MGM Studios and MRC. Both Lili Reinhart and Ali Hazelwood serve as executive producers. As part of the promotional campaign, Lili Reinhart featured in an ELLE USA photoshoot. The feature showcases high-fashion ensembles, including an Alexander McQueen floral lace evening dress and a red Valentino Cady Couture gown, to highlight the upcoming release.
