Timex and Tudor watch releases

The watch industry has seen recent releases and high-profile sightings involving Timex and Tudor models.

Timex introduced the Atelier GMT Première M1a, a 38mm luxury timepiece featuring a Swiss-made Landeron 24 GMT automatic movement, a black enamel dial, and a black-and-green 24-hour bezel. The brand also launched the Marlin Neo Classic Chronograph, a 40mm vintage-style watch with a cream and silver dial, telemeter, and tachymeter.

Timex has since expanded its Marlin collection with the introduction of the Marlin Neo Classic Chronograph and the Marlin Quartz GMT. The Neo Classic Chronograph series features 40mm stainless steel cases with a thickness of 13mm, utilizing quartz movements and domed acrylic crystals to maintain a vintage aesthetic. These models include tachymetric and distance scales and are available in configurations such as a cream dial with metallic blue Arabic numerals.

The Marlin Quartz GMT provides dual-time tracking via a dedicated fourth hand and a 24-hour scale. Designed to avoid a bulky tool-watch appearance, the 40mm watch is available with either a stainless steel bracelet or a leather strap.

Timex has further expanded its offerings with the Addison line, introducing two square-case models designed for smaller wrists. These 23mm watches feature Roman numeral dials, mineral glass, and quartz movements, with options including a silver case with a black leather strap or a gold-tone case with a champagne dial. Additionally, the brand introduced two Marlin Chatham Automatic models, featuring 36mm cushion-shaped cases and Japanese Miyota automatic movements.

In the luxury segment, Tudor’s Black Bay Chrono, inspired by the Flamingo model, gained attention after being worn by David Beckham. This 41mm stainless steel model features a turquoise ‘Flamingo Blue’ dial and is powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5813 automatic movement.
