A week later, at THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase, the Spirit mastery was confirmed alongside the introduction of a first‑iteration crafting system that lets players break down items for materials and add affixes. The showcase reiterated that Titan Quest 2 remains in early access on PC and highlighted fan interest in the related Gothic franchise.

On 7 August 2026, THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games released patch 0.7.0, delivering the Spirit mastery in‑game with ten active and twenty‑six passive abilities, a Shade resource, and new summons such as the Eidolon Guard and Athanekros. The same update launched the full crafting system, allowing item disassembly, affix rerolls, addition of new affixes and item level‑up, while also tweaking movement speed, loot tables and fixing bugs. The patch marks the transition from preview and showcase to an operational implementation of both the mastery and crafting features.
