The Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKİ) announced a discount campaign targeting approximately 228,000 housing and workplace owners. Under the program, announced by Minister Murat Kurum, individuals who settle their entire remaining debt in full will receive a 25 percent discount. A partial payment option is also available, where paying at least 25 percent of the remaining debt grants a 25 percent discount on the specific amount paid. The campaign is scheduled to run from September 22 to October 19, 2026. To be eligible, participants must have commenced installment payments by the end of June 2025 and must have no overdue installments or real estate tax debts. The current month’s installment must also be paid. Borrowers with 12 months or fewer of remaining installments are excluded from the offer. Applications must be submitted through the intermediary banks used in the original sales contracts. For projects where condominium ownership has already been established, title deeds will be issued once the debt is settled in ~~full.~~ full, provided owners submit necessary documentation such as property declaration values and mandatory earthquake insurance (DASK) policies. Additionally, buyers have the option to use housing loans from their banks to facilitate the closure of their debts.
