Tokyo Disney Resort is marking the 25th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Sea with a two‑year “Sparkling Jubilee” program running from 15 April 2025 to 31 March 2027. The celebration features a “Jubilee Blue” colour scheme and a wide range of themed merchandise, including figures, plush toys, apparel, and accessories. Initial releases began on 25 May 2026 at locations such as the Emporio in Mediterranean Harbor and the Fantasy Springs Gift shop. In parallel, photographer Masashi Asada’s “Imaging the Magic” project adds a visual dimension to the celebration. Approximately 120 new photographs are featured on limited‑edition goods—such as pouches, tote bags, and blankets—with three product waves starting 15 October 2026. The images also adorn exclusive hotel rooms at the Disney Celebration Hotel and are displayed in free exhibitions in Osaka (9–28 Oct 2026) and Tokyo (27 Nov–17 Dec 2026). To assist visitors, Kodansha released the “Tokyo Disney Sea Perfect Guidebook 2027 25th Anniversary SPECIAL” on 27 July 2026. Priced at ¥2,200, the guidebook includes a detachable map and a holographic postcard, covering anniversary shows, menus, and décor. As the anniversary progresses, Kodansha has also released the “Tokyo DisneySea Chronicle 25 Years History,” which includes an interview with Oriental Land Co., Ltd. president Wataru Takahashi regarding the park’s future, alongside historical details on anniversary costumes and the development of the Fantasy Springs expansion. Transportation-related festivities include the “Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary Sparkling Jubilee Fan Stamp Rally” on the Disney Resort Line from 4 September to 31 October 2026. Participants can collect seven stamps across four stations to complete a piece of art featuring Mickey Mouse in anniversary attire alongside park symbols like the DisneySea AquaSphere and Mount Prometheus. To participate, guests must present a valid Disney Resort Line free pass to staff.
