Tom Morello solo album and collaboration release

Overview

Musician Tom Morello released his solo rock album, ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want’, via Mom + Pop Music on September 25. The project, which features various collaborators including Serj Tankian and Beartooth, also includes contributions from Morello’s son, Roman Morello.

A featured track on the album, ‘Unconquered’, is a collaboration with the Belfast hip-hop group Kneecap. The song combines Morello’s guitar style with electronic percussion and verses performed in both Irish and English. Morello described the track as an effort to capture an ‘unconquered spirit’ of resistance against repression.
