tonies SE has expanded its interactive audio ecosystem through new hardware and content partnerships. In late July 2026, the company announced the Toniebox Lite, a compact and lightweight audio player for children aged one and up. The device, priced at $79.99 USD in North America, was designed to provide a mindful alternative to screen time and was scheduled for a phased rollout across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Following this hardware expansion, tonies announced a collaboration with The Pokémon Company International. This partnership introduced exclusive Pokémon-themed Tonie figures, including Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, alongside educational audio content such as a ‘Trainer Academy’. The collaboration also featured a special yellow edition of the Toniebox 2 inspired by Pikachu. In August 2026, the Pokémon collaboration moved toward official release. In Germany, the launch is scheduled for August 19, 2026, with initial pre-order stock already sold out in the official Tonies shop. Availability for the collection is expected through retailers including Thalia, Hugendubel, Media Markt, and Saturn. In Australia and New Zealand, the collection is set to arrive in stores on August 20, 2026. This release includes a starter set featuring the ‘Lightning Yellow Toniebox 2’ and a Pikachu Tonie, priced at approximately AUD 229.95 or NZD 259.95. Individual Pokémon Tonies are priced at approximately AUD 29.95 or NZD 34.95.
