The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has announced various programming details and speaker lineups for its upcoming events. Initial announcements for the inaugural ‘TIFF: The Market’ highlighted a mix of creative and commercial participants. Scheduled speakers included Gary Oldman, director Curry Barker, producer Robbie Brenner, and Korean director Lee Chang-dong, who is set to receive the Ebert Director Tribute Award. For its 51st edition, running from September 10 to 20, 2026, TIFF has released a full schedule featuring 293 titles. The ‘In Conversation With…’ series will now include Rachel Morrison and Lee Min-ho, while Hudson Williams is set to participate through the ‘Next Wave’ initiative to discuss his work in the series ‘Yaga.’ New film additions to the program include Werner Herzog’s ‘Bucking Fastard’ and Martin McDonagh’s ‘Wild Horse Nine.’ The festival will also host the world premiere of the documentary ‘Neil Peart: No One’s Disciple,’ which honors the late Rush drummer through interviews with musicians and bandmates.
