Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2026 facelift of the Glanza premium hatchback in India, with ex-showroom pricing ranging from Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 10.49 lakh. The vehicle is offered in five variants: E, S, G, V, and V (O). The updated model features a redesigned exterior inspired by Toyota’s global styling, including a larger grille, sportier bumpers, LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and new LED fog lamp housings. Other exterior updates include redesigned side ~~skirts~~ skirts, chrome accents, a shark-fin antenna, and updated alloy wheels. Mechanical updates include the introduction of the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces approximately 82 hp and 112.4 Nm of torque. This is paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). A CNG version is also available, producing 69.75 hp and 101.8 Nm of torque, which now includes an AMT option. The vehicle is produced in India by Maruti Suzuki, sharing its mechanical foundation with the Suzuki Baleno. Safety and technological enhancements have been expanded. The top-tier V (O) grade features Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which includes adaptive cruise ~~control.~~ control and automatic emergency braking. Other features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charging in mid-to-high trim levels, and a nine-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Bookings for the 2026 model opened on October 15, 2026, with deliveries expected to commence in the first week of November.
