Traffic accidents in Lambayeque region

Overview

A series of fatal traffic accidents has been reported in the Lambayeque region of Peru.

In the Zaña district, a head-on collision between a mototaxi and a vehicle near the “Fierro” bridge resulted in the death of 40-year-old Elvis Smith Quiroz Romero. Other occupants of the vehicle sustained various injuries, including facial fractures and head contusions.

Subsequent incidents in the region included a pedestrian, 42-year-old Luis Roberto Bonilla Álamo, being struck by a truck in La Victoria, which resulted in his death from abdominal injuries. Additionally, 81-year-old Fidel Suárez Chanta died following an accident involving an electric motorcycle in Ferreñafe.
