MOSiR Elbląg has announced a week of free summer activities designed to promote active recreation and social interaction for residents and visitors. The scheduled program includes an 18-kilometer bicycle tour starting from Brama Targowa, roller skating competitions at Tor Kalbar, and a guided kayaking trip on the Elbląg River. The week of events will conclude with a map-based city game in Bażantarnia. Following the conclusion of the summer program, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center reported that nearly 15,000 people participated in 35 free events and attractions over a two-month period. The expanded program featured diverse sporting competitions, including dragon boat racing, a water sports festival, a mini Olympics, swimming competitions, duathlons, and tournaments in 3x3 basketball, football, beach volleyball, and table tennis. Recreational offerings also included cycling tours, kayaking, rollerblading, scootering, night skating sessions at Kalbar, and city games focused on the history of the Elbląg Old Town. Natalia Szrama, deputy director of MOSiR Elbląg, noted that despite unfavorable weather, interest remained high, and the organization is already planning for next year.
