Following the unexpected death of 25-year-old actress Luna Jordan in May 2026, actor Jürgen Vogel has issued a public tribute to his colleague. Vogel, who portrayed Jordan’s onscreen father in the ZDF crime series ‘Jenseits der Spree’, shared a video message on Facebook expressing the deep loss felt by the cast and crew. He noted that his previous silence was intended to respect the privacy of the ~~situation.~~ situation, stating, “I also did not want the impression to arise that we are just striking all this from our hearts and our lives.” Vogel described her loss as a “huge incision” for the team, noting they had worked together for six years. The tribute aligns with the premiere of the sixth season of ‘Jenseits der Spree’. The opening episode, ‘Kontrollverlust’, which aired on October 16, included a memorial dedication reading, “In loving memory of Luna Jordan.” To account for the actress’s absence, the show’s writers scripted her character, Stella Heffler, as having departed for a journey to South America.
