Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan began promoting his upcoming fourth studio album through cryptic social media teasers, including a website featuring the initials ‘STB’ and imagery of Sivan in colorful wigs alongside Addison Rae. Following these teasers, Sivan officially announced the album is titled ‘She’s the Best’ and is scheduled for release on October 9, 2026. To kick off the project, Sivan released the title track as a lead single accompanied by a music video directed by Gordon von Steiner. The video, set in a club environment inspired by 1980s New York queer culture, features appearances by actress Nicole Kidman and drag queen Sasha Colby. Sivan described the song as a “love letter” to women and the ~~feminine.~~ feminine, specifically noting it as a tribute to transgender women, drag queens, and those expressing femininity. The track was written in collaboration with George Daniel, Jack Antonoff, Leland, and Styalz Fuego. Sivan and Kidman previously worked together on the 2018 film ‘Boy Erased’. To debut the music, Sivan hosted a TikTok LIVE and a physical premiere party in New York City on August 13, 2026.
