Turkey civil service recruitment 2026
Entities: Supreme Audit Institution of Turkey (Sayıştay) · Van Province · Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) · Turkey · Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM)
Overview
In early August 2026 the Turkish government announced two large-scale recruitment drives for its public‑sector bodies. The Supreme Audit Institution (Sayıştay) opened applications for 25 auditor‑assistant posts, requiring candidates to be under 35, hold a four‑year degree in law, economics, business or related fields, and pass a three‑stage selection process (an elimination exam on 31 October in four cities, written exams on 26‑27 December, and a final interview). Applications are accepted online through ÖSYM from 9 to 17 September, with a single late‑application day on 24 September.
A day later the Revenue Administration (Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı) released a nationwide call for 860 tax‑specialist assistants. Applicants must be Turkish citizens, under 35, hold a four‑year degree in law, political science, economics, business or related fields, and achieve at least 65 points on the relevant KPSS categories. Registration occurs in two phases (pre‑registration 20‑22 October; final registration 30 October‑3 November) with a late‑application day on 6 November. The written exam is scheduled for 21 November in Ankara’s ÖSYM centre, followed by oral interviews. Eight of the positions are earmarked for Van Province. Successful candidates will be assigned to one of 80 provinces based on their preferences.
Both recruitment processes are coordinated by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and aim to reinforce the staffing of key state institutions ahead of the upcoming fiscal year.
