The 16th stop of the Turkey Culture Route Festival was scheduled to take place in Çanakkale from August 29 to September 6, 2026. The nine-day program was designed to highlight the city’s historical and cultural heritage through concerts, exhibitions, theater, and archaeological tours. The festival included a diverse musical lineup with free nightly concerts and a gastronomy program featuring Michelin-starred chef Maksut Aşkar to showcase local culinary traditions. During As part of the event, the Çanakkale Wars Gallipoli Historical Area Presidency organized specific commemorative maritime activities, including the a ‘Respect to History Commemorative Dive’ and a ‘Sailing Drive’. Approximately 460 guests participated in scuba diving at the Anadolu Hamidiye Batteries, while 250 people, including children and youth, youth participated in sailing activities intended to increase awareness activities.
