On 29 July, Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi chaired a nationwide sports‑security meeting joined by Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, Youth and Sports Minister Osman Aşkın Bak and all provincial governors. The session reiterated mandatory Passolig use at every stadium entrance, including protocol tribunes, and confirmed the requirement for staff to wear body‑worn cameras. Authorities announced heightened virtual patrols to monitor provocative social‑media activity and further tightened police‑gendarmerie coordination on fan travel routes. Additional regional gatherings were held in provinces such as Erzincan and Hakkâri to apply the framework locally, underscoring the goal of a peaceful, safe season.
