In August 2026, specialized “Gebe Okulu” (Pregnant School) programs expanded their practical offerings. In Nazilli, the District Health Directorate’s program, led by midwives and physiotherapists, provides training on fetal development, nutrition, and emergency recognition, alongside practical sessions on breathing techniques and musculoskeletal support. Participants receive certificates upon completion. Simultaneously, Elazığ’s Medilines Hospital launched a free project staffed by obstetricians, midwives, dietitians, and psychologists. This curriculum covers the full spectrum from conception to postpartum, emphasizing diet, labor stages, and newborn care to encourage safe, natural deliveries.
