Recent developments in Turkey involve localized industrial expansion and urban transformation projects. In Konya, the Ministry of Industry and Technology approved a decision to expand the Beyşehir Organized Industrial Zone. This involves the expropriation of over 41,000 square meters in the Hüyük district to create new infrastructure for industrial activities. In Kayseri, the Yahyalı district is advancing a New Industrial Site Project. The initiative aims to build 284 new workplaces to support local tradespeople. As part of this urban transformation, an existing industrial area is planned for conversion into a residential zone, which is expected to provide housing for approximately 1,200 to 1,300 units. In Samsun, investment activities are progressing at the Vezirköprü Karma Organized Industrial Zone (OSB). Spanning 1.5 million square meters, the zone contains 40 industrial parcels, six of which have already been allocated to investors. Three companies are currently undergoing construction, while other firms, including Dizen Motor Savunma Sanayii and Emineller Orman Ürünleri, have been assigned parcels. The remaining 1 million square meters of land are undergoing the allocation process. Infrastructure work, such as energy and water supply lines, is complete, while road construction and sewage systems are ongoing. The zone is positioned to support agriculture-based industries, furniture, and wood production.
