Turkish authorities, coordinated by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, have launched a large-scale operation against the organization led by Alparslan Kuytul, also known as the Furkan Foundation or ‘Kuytulcular’. The investigation involved simultaneous raids at 49 addresses across six provinces, resulting in the detention of 56 suspects, including Alparslan Kuytul and his wife, Semra Kuytul. Prosecutors have requested the arrest of 44 individuals. Allegations include establishing and managing a criminal organization, money laundering, fraud, forgery, tax violations, and the exploitation of religious sentiments for fundraising. Investigators also identified the concealment of assets through third parties. a sophisticated hierarchical structure with specialized departments for education, social media, logistics, and finance. Evidence includes approximately 6,000 reports submitted to the CİMER system between 2024 and 2026, which detailed a hierarchical structure with specific roles in logistics, social media, and regional management. the group’s internal operations. During searches of the organization’s administrative building, investigators found encrypted door systems and discovered noted that hard disks suspects had been removed or destroyed hard disks to hide documents. Recent developments include the seizure of 3.9 million TL in cash, gold, and foreign currency from the residence of the group’s social media manager, Muhammet Yasin B. While Semra Kuytul has contested these findings on social media, claiming the footage originated from a different operation in Eskişehir, official records document the recovery of assets from the manager’s home. Additionally, investigators have identified links between nine high-level members and 24 individuals previously processed in connection with FETÖ/PDY.
