Turkish military academies and vocational schools are conducting intensive training programs to enhance combat readiness and technical skills. In early August, naval officer and non-commissioned officer candidates at the Naval Vocational School of Higher Education in Altınova engaged in sea-based emergency drills, physical conditioning, and specialized swimming. The program notably included female non-commissioned officer candidates specializing in fields such as aircraft maintenance. Concurrently, officer candidates at the Turkish Naval Academy in Tuzla performed advanced maneuvers involving tactical navigation and emergency response. By late August, training expanded to include cadets from the National Defense University in Izmir. Approximately 3,200 cadets, including 350 international students, students from 32 friendly nations, participated in endurance marches, survival training, and drone operations year-end exercises at the Land Forces Academy. These activities included endurance marches ranging from 8 to 32 kilometers, combat maneuvers, close-quarters combat, survival skills, drone operation, mountaineering, and mine or improvised explosive device (IED) detection. Additionally, Air Force non-commissioned officer candidates from the Air Force Vocational School completed a four-week summer camp at the Aliağa Shooting and Training Center, focusing Center. This training focused on technical aircraft maintenance, weapon assembly, camouflage, and close-quarters combat physical conditioning to prepare for support the operation of advanced Turkish technological and national weapon systems.
