Turkish municipal death notices (June–Aug 2026)

The routine of publishing detailed municipal death registers ~~persisted~~ continued throughout ~~July 2026. After Konya’s reports of eleven deaths on 20~~ June, July and ~~again on 21 July, obituary~~ into August 2026, covering a growing number of Turkish provinces. Early June notices ~~on 31 July~~ listed residents who died on 6 June in ~~both Nevşehir~~ Gaziantep and ~~Konya,~~ on 7 June in Nevşehir, providing names, ages and burial ~~locations.~~ sites. On 13 June both Trabzon (15 deceased across several districts) and Gaziantep released similar funeral schedules. Mid‑June notices from Gaziantep (22 June) and Nevşehir (21‑22 June) again detailed individual entries, including infants and accident victims. On 26 June municipal records from Konya and Nevşehir recorded twelve and several senior deaths respectively. The end‑June/early‑July period saw Osmaniye (30 June) and Konya (1 July) publish ten and fourteen death notices. A July 3 list covered the Trabzon region and surrounding districts, while a July 31 notice again documented deaths in Nevşehir and Konya. Finally, on 1 August Kırıkkale and Gaziantep released new obituary lists. These entries ~~continue the~~ illustrate a systematic, locally administered practice of publicly documenting mortalities and funeral arrangements across Turkish provinces.
