Turkish municipalities are implementing continue to implement various educational support initiatives to assist students with national examinations. In Kahramanmaraş, the metropolitan municipality launched the municipality’s Pusula Maraş Education Center has commenced level placement exams for thousands of students at Şehit Akif Akçadağ Anatolian High School. This initiative, led by Mayor Fırat Görgel, aims to assist 1,000 prepare students preparing for the High School Transition System (LGS) and the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). (YKS) for the 2026–2027 academic year. The center utilizes an artificial intelligence-supported tracking program focuses on promoting equality of opportunity by providing academic instruction, guidance, and performance analysis system support to monitor student success and identify academic gaps. Other regional efforts focus on the manage exam anxiety. Efforts to support Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS). (KPSS) candidates have expanded through intensive review camps. In Bursa, Ankara, the metropolitan municipality organized a Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) launched its fifth annual 60-hour free KPSS Undergraduate Mock Exam for review camp at the Kocatepe Cultural Center, providing approximately 2,500 candidates across youth centers 1,000 students with study books and the Hürriyet Exam Preparation Center. The 120-question exam covered Turkish, mathematics, instruction in subjects such as history, geography, and citizenship mathematics. Similarly, the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality is hosting a review camp at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Cultural Center, featuring specialized sessions like constitutional law lectures to help candidates practice time management and identify weaknesses. The municipality intends to host further students refine exam techniques. Other regional efforts include Bursa’s mock exams for associate degree and secondary education candidates on September 12-13. In KPSS candidates, Kdz. Ereğli, the municipality is collaborating with Özel Ebil Eğitim Pegem Akademi to organize a free in-person Ereğli’s General Review Camp from August 31 to September 3 at the Atatürk Cultural Center. The program will provide expert-led sessions in Citizenship, Geography, History, and Turkish. Expanding these efforts, Camp, Efeler Municipality is launching free preparation Municipality’s workshops for 8th and 12th-grade students targeting the LGS students, and YKS exams. Meanwhile, in Nevşehir, the municipality is collaborating with Uzman Kariyer Özel Öğretim Kursu to organize Nevşehir’s ‘KPSS FEST’ from August 24–27, 2026, providing free lessons and motivational support scheduled for candidates.
