The Turkish public sector continued intensive open-tender procurements under Law No. 4734 through August 2026. Following early summer tenders for food supplies, medical consumables, and various infrastructure projects, the focus expanded into specialized technical services, disaster relief, and large-scale urban works. Municipal and provincial activities included the construction of an emergency boat station in Giresun by the Coast Guard General Directorate, drinking water and sewage line construction in Bayat, and the procurement of crane systems and electric hoists for the Ömerli Water Treatment Plants by ISKI. Other municipal needs included concrete elements for Sarıyer’s Ferah Evler site and the purchase of 34 disaster-relief tents by Avcılar Municipality. In mid-to-late August, infrastructure and restoration projects saw further activity. The İzmir Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate initiated a 300-day restoration project for the TCDD Bornova Train Station. In Ankara, ASKİ continued expanding water infrastructure with drinking water networks in Beypazarı and Güdül. The Ministry of Health also announced tenders for roof repairs at the Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital oncology buildings. By late August and early September, procurement efforts shifted toward maintenance and maintenance, specialized supplies. The Van Metropolitan Municipality and Çorum Municipality initiated construction projects for a course center in Gevaş and a water intake structure at the Koçhisar Dam, respectively. Additional municipal tenders included cleaning equipment for Çorum’s Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, water procurement for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, supplies, and imaging system products for Arnavutköy. Maintenance efforts also expanded, with the sports infrastructure. The Van Provincial Health Directorate seeking sought repairs for the Mother-Friendly unit, operating room, and sterilization units at Bahçesaray State Hospital and the Hospital. The Çorum Special Provincial Administration planning planned maintenance for government houses across several districts. New construction tenders included a synthetic field and changing rooms in Mersin’s Akdeniz district, a semi-olympic indoor swimming pool in Seydikemer, a course center for young students in Van’s İpekyolu district, and the renovation of the İzmir Vilayetler Evi.
