Coach Abidin Kuruağaç noted that approximately 500 citizens received free training, allowing them to transition from basic instruction to competitive play. In the Menteşe district of Muğla, a basketball tournament was held at the Menteşe Sports Hall. The event, which concluded in late August, featured competitive matches for trophies and medals, aiming to combine community unity with the historical significance of Victory Day.
