In early June Nilüfer Municipality wrapped up its three‑project Youth Program, awarding certificates to participants and pledging continued support for youth ideas. The Yıldırım district completed its 20‑week “Bursa Thought School,” graduating 42 students who presented projects at a symposium hosted with Bursa Uludağ University. İnegöl’s 332‑hour gardening course for park‑maintenance staff and Nilüfer’s hygiene‑education programme for women in food‑production cooperatives both concluded with certification ceremonies. Nilüfer also announced the winners of its inter‑high‑school book‑cover design contest, showcasing 270 entries. At the end of June the municipality launched the “Mahallede Sözümüz, Nilüfer’de Gücümüz Var!” initiative, establishing regular neighbourhood meetings for women to propose and develop local projects, alongside free summer workshops on health, ageing and child development. Early July saw Nazilli District Health Directorate deliver a women‑focused training on heat‑related risks, cancer screening and safety, while Manisa’s Chamber of Commerce and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board concluded a 56‑hour industrial sourcing course, granting certificates, mentoring and financial‑literacy support to participants. Municipal vocational programmes continued with Düzce’s Kitchen Workshop tasting event, where trainees earned perfect scores for traditional dishes, and Çubuk’s nine‑month Women Handicraft Workshop, which awarded certificates to about 30 artisans. In August the “Sanayide Kadın Eli” (Women’s Hand in Industry) initiative expanded: Eskişehir signed a protocol to increase women’s share in industrial work, and Manisa launched a six‑week welding programme training 50 women, culminating in Ministry‑approved vocational certificates. Continuing the trend, in August 2026 the Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir held a two‑day handmade market at Hicri Sezen Square, where women who had completed free municipal workshops in knitting, sewing, embroidery and other crafts sold their products to the public. In early August 2026, Gaziantep entrepreneur Elif Uysal, supported by KAGİDEM, expanded her Elif Uysal Atelier sewing label, secured a machine‑grant and prepared a workshop, boosting sales nationally and abroad.
